UAB Cooperation
Promoting a University Committed to Global Justice
We strive to make the university an active space for defending human rights, promoting social transformation, and combatting structural inequalities. We support the university community in its active efforts towards creating a fairer society.
What do we do?
We promote cooperation among universities, Global Justice education, and the inclusion and defence of refugees' rights. We also foster critical knowledge, transformative alliances and social impact within the university community by building connections with related organisations and institutions.
Why do we do it?
To encourage critical thinking and social responsibility, and to help the university community understand the causes of global inequalities and take action to address them. We also work to establish the UAB as a leading institution in interuniversity cooperation and Global Justice education.
How do we do it?
We carry out interuniversity cooperation and Global Justice education projects, integrate this perspective into university life and promote training, volunteering and reception programmes that have a positive social impact.
We collaborate with local and Global South universities and organisations to build alliances that promote human rights and social transformation.
