The Fundació Autònoma Solidària (FAS) a university-based social organisation created in 1999 that collaborates in applying social, solidarity-based and cooperative policies for the development and equality of opportunities at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. 
To do this, the FAS designs and executes university social-action and awareness-raising projects, promoting a critical spirit with the ultimate goal of generating social impact aimed at fostering social justice and the improvement of the general environment and people’s quality of life.
