José María Ricarte Creativity Award ceremony

Illustrator Pilarín Bayés and the payment application Bizum are the winners of the 12th edition of the 2023 José María Ricarte National Creativity Award organised by the Advertising, Communication and Marketing Association. This year's winners are artist Pilar Bayés, in the individual category, and the Bizum payment app, in the legal entity category. The awards will be given on 23 November in a ceremony which will be held at 3 p.m. at the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Communication Studies, as part of the 25th edition of the Drac Novell festival.

The award honours individuals, organisations and institutions that have been able to transcend their imagination and put it at the service of humanism, and who also meet three basic criteria: creativity, innovation and humanism. This celebration is a tribute to José María Ricarte, publicist and lecturer in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at the UAB, who died in 2010 at the age of 77.
