Initiation to the casteller world

Castellers performances are a popular cultural practice deeply rooted in Catalan universities. The UAB castellera group, the Ganàpies, has almost 30 years of experience.

How a castle works, basic safety rules and the castellero imaginary are some of the contents that you will learn about if you take part in this activity, but, above all, you will be part of one of the most deeply-rooted groups in our university community.

The initial presential sessions are on the 24th and 31st of October, at 3.30 pm in the Sala Annexa of the Hotel de entidades. And the castellera practice can be carried out until 21 December 2023.

This activity is free and can be recognised with 2 ECTS credits. The inscriptions are until October 23rd, 2023 in this form.
