Information session on "Internships and work in European institutions and international organisations"

The session is free and aimed at UAB students and alumni interested in discovering the professional opportunities offered by international institutions and prepare themselves for the selection process.

Students interested in pursuing a professional career in institutions of the European Union and/or other international organisations will be able to learn all about the calls and public examinations held, how to register and the phases which must be passed.

Presented by José Díaz Lafuente, lecturer of the Department of International Relations and Global History of the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), and Carlos Pérez Padilla, UAB alumni working at the European External Action Service, students will also be able to take simulation tests forming part of selection processes, and learn about the type of preparation they need to pass these tests.

Due to the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, the workshop will be offered online through the Google Meet application. Students interested in attending can click on this link

This activity will also serve as an introduction to the Curs de Preparació per a Concursos i Oposicions de la Unió Europea i Organismes Internacionals, an online preparatory course for those interested in taking public exams. The course is offered on Saturdays during the month of March and deadline for applications is 16 February.
