How can virtual, augmented and mixed realities transform the way we teach, research and transfer knowledge? The third edition of the UAB Virtual Reality Day offers a practical, dynamic space to discover the resources, tools and experiences available to drive extended reality projects both within and beyond the University.

This event, organised by the UAB Open Labs with the support of the Social Council, is aimed at UAB research staff—regardless of their prior experience with Virtual Reality. Attendees will have the opportunity to view and experience some of the notable projects created on the UAB campus. The session will also feature presentations from Catalan companies that develop virtual and immersive applications, provide an update on the resources available on campus, and outline the grants for which more ambitious projects may be eligible. Furthermore, the artistic director of the "Codi Gaudí" (Gaudí Code) exhibition will share the "making-of" story behind this new landmark space for virtual reality, and participants will gain firsthand insight into a major knowledge-transfer project that utilises these emerging technologies.
