The series includes 8 2-hour sessions, independent of each other, with a total duration of 16 hours. Registration can be made for the entire series or for individual sessions, online or face-to-face.
The programme begins on 22 October with the session “Nanomedicine: present and future challenges”. The activity will focus on current advances and challenges in the field of nanomedicine and will feature the participation of Julia Lorenzo, lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the UAB and principal investigator in the Protein Engineering and Nanomedicine group at the Institute of Biotechnology and Biomedicine (IBB-UAB).
The session will provide an overview of current advances in nanomedicine, exploring the main applications in disease diagnosis and treatment. Special emphasis will be placed on targeted nanotherapy, controlled drug release, and molecular diagnostic platforms.
