"Multakana - Youth Voices for Peace 2023"

"Multakana" means a place of meeting in Arabic. 

Multakana – مُلْتَقانا Youth Voices for Peace 2023 is a proposal addressed to young activists and people interested in peacebuilding, social transformation and human rights, living in the Middle East and/or Catalonia. The event will include an online learning session and on-site forum held at the UAB.

On 30 and 31 March, the UAB will play host to a forum which will bring together young people from different sectors interested in peacebuilding processes and non-violence, and will focus on activism from an intercultural perspective, emphasising processes of resilience, solidarity and the defense of rights being carried out by young people in different parts of the world.

The event has been organised by the Fundació Autònoma Solidària in collaboration with NOVACT and the Kudwa Association.
