Òscar Alemán Milán has been awarded in the 29th edition of the Lluís Casassas i Simó Prize of the Catalan Society of Geography (Institut d'Estudis Catalans).

Last March 1, the competition for the position of Professor of Regional Geographic Analysis was held, which  Mireia Baylina Ferré won.

The new director was chosen at the October 20, 2023 Department Council.

On October 5, during the opening ceremony of the 2023/24 academic year, Oriol Nel·lo received the V Award for Teaching Excellence from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities
