New Entrepreneurship course led by expert Montse Lamata López, to discover how to start a social and collaborative economy project. This activity is organized by UAB and the Federation of Worker Cooperatives of Catalonia. It will be held every Thursday in March, in the morning schedule, at the Emprèn UAB space, in Plaça Cívica. UAB offers students and alumni a free online workshop to teach how to use artificial intelligence tools to enhance communication skills in project presentations. The session, led by expert Pedro Olivares, will take place on December 4, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, via Microsoft Teams.

Creativity is one of the most sought-after skills in educational and work environments, and for this reason, the Entrepreneurship Unit of the Employability Service offers a workshop for students and alumni. It will be led by expert Maria Batet on November 18 at 12:00 PM at Espai Emprèn UAB. Registrations are open on the NEXUS application.

Workshop to learn the steps to create an Elevator Pitch for all UAB students and alumni who want to learn or improve this method. The session will take place on December 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at the Emprèn space, led by expert Víctor Cepero.

The program allows new entrepreneurs to undertake a training stay at a startup abroad to learn about its operation and management. The session will take place on November 6 at 1:00 PM. Free registration via NEXUS.

The lobby of the School of Engineering will host the next session of “The Entrepreneur’s Corner,” focused on the creation of Haddock. Arnau Navarro, co-founder, and Enric Chust, AI engineer, will explain the technological and business challenges behind this start-up.

Registration is now open for iFest Bootcamp, a 35-hour pathway based on design thinking to tackle real-world challenges. Undergraduate students at UAB who complete the training can obtain 2 ECTS credits. The registration deadline is 9 December 2025.

Born as a spin-off of the UAB and the Research Institute of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, the company has closed a €12 million investment round to advance the development of its first oncological nanodrug. Led by Dr Montserrat Cano, Nanoligent aims to bring a new generation of oncological treatments based on nanobiotechnology developed at the UAB to the clinical stage.

On Thursday, 23 October, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., the Emprèn UAB space will host the workshop “Learn to Innovate Disruptively!”, led by the expert Carles Gómara from ACCIÓ’s Innovation and Digital Transformation Unit. It is aimed especially at students and alumni, but is open to the entire university community. Registration via the NEXUS app.

The session will focus on Cottafava’s entrepreneurial experience at BIOMA, a startup that develops biodegradable, circular biomaterials from organic waste. It will take place on Thursday, 16 October 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Emprèn UAB space, at Plaça Cívica. Free registration via the NEXUS app.
