The UAB offers a free workshop to learn how to innovate disruptively within the Innovation Week
On Thursday, 23 October, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., the Emprèn UAB space will host the workshop “Learn to Innovate Disruptively!”, led by the expert Carles Gómara from ACCIÓ’s Innovation and Digital Transformation Unit. It is aimed especially at students and alumni, but is open to the entire university community. Registration via the NEXUS app.

In an environment where innovation is often limited to incremental improvements, this workshop proposes breaking established logic and working with dynamics that help imagine truly disruptive solutions. Participants will learn to question assumptions, explore alternative paths, and turn high-potential ideas into high-impact proposals.
Aimed at students and alumni, entrepreneurs, professionals and change agents who are looking for tools and inspiration to go beyond the typical think outside the box: to burn the box, rebuild it, or imagine a world where it doesn’t even exist. No prior knowledge required.
Carles Gómara (Innovation and Digital Transformation Unit, ACCIÓ), who will lead the session, is also an independent expert for the European Research Executive Agency (REA) and has extensive expertise in artificial intelligence.
The activity is included within the “Projecta't” initiative, which allows you to obtain ECTS credits.
The Emprèn UAB space is located at Plaça Cívica, on the first floor of the RR building, above the bar.
“Learn to Innovate Disruptively!” is an initiative of the Entrepreneurship Unit of the Employability Service, as part of Emprèn UAB.
