New public speaking workshop to learn how to present a project or idea with an elevator pitch
Workshop to learn the steps to create an Elevator Pitch for all UAB students and alumni who want to learn or improve this method. The session will take place on December 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at the Emprèn space, led by expert Víctor Cepero.
This workshop allows participants to learn the keys to public speaking to communicate with confidence and clarity. It is open to the entire UAB Community. No prior experience in public speaking or preparation is required. It is an ideal activity for participants in the Emprèn Pitch contest.
In this workshop, the uses and benefits of an "elevator pitch" will be covered, as well as how to structure and craft this type of speech to achieve the intended objectives and the best way to deliver it.
It will be led by Víctor Cepero, specialized in sales psychology and motivation, who is also a PhD candidate in Computational Science and Computer Vision at the CVC, founder of the startup BrainMapp—surgery assistance software—and winner of the latest edition of the Santander X Awards.
The activity is included within the “Projecta't” initiative, which allows you to obtain ECTS credits.
The Emprèn UAB space is located at Plaça Cívica, on the first floor of the RR building, above the bar.
