The Article of the Month initiative, promoted by the Research and Communication Committee of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, has selected as its article of the month the study “The impact of physical multimorbidity on common mental disorders and the role of loneliness and social support: A three-year follow-up study”, published in the Journal of Affective Disorders.

Professor David Sánchez-Carracedo participated in the debate “S20 - Eating disorders, obesity, weight and stigma” at the AEETCA conference, where he presented the work “Anthropometric measurement in children and adolescents in educational settings. Have we forgotten the principle of primum non nocere?”

The “Article of the Month” initiative, promoted by the Research and Communication Committee of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology, has selected the study “Analyzing the Impact of Depression on All-Cause Mortality in Different Sex and Age Groups: A 11-Year Follow-Up Study of Spanish Population”, published in the International Journal of Social Psychiatry.

Held on April 11, 2026, at the Palacio de Congresos in Santiago de Compostela and organized by the Xunta de Galicia.

The research team Person–Environment Interaction in Risk and Resilience for Mental Health, led by Professor Neus Vidal Barrantes from the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, took part in the annual Schizophrenia International Research Society Conference (SIRS), held in Florence (Italy) from March 25 to 29, 2026.

Dr. Estíbaliz Royuela Colomer, lecturer at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, carried out a teachingstay at Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania) between 30 March and 3 April 2026. The stay was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme for teaching and research staff, which promotes international mobility and collaboration between European universities.

Professor David Sánchez‑Carracedo received an honourable mention for the Best Oral Communication at the 15th AEETCA Congress, held in Málaga from March 18 to 21, under the theme “Navegando hacia la recuperación de los TCA”. The award was given for the presentation of the study “Cuando el estigma y el peso se retroalimentan: primera evidencia en España de la relación bidireccional entre estigma y obesidad en adolescentes”, conducted together with Joana Estrada Vila and Albert Fornieles‑Deu.

With the publication entitled “Childhood experiences of abuse and neglect: links with different psychopathology symptom dimensions in a Mexican sample”, published in the journal European Journal of Psychotraumatology, the professor has reached 200 publications in journals indexed in SCOPUS.

The Research and Communication Committee of the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology has selected as the article of the month the paper “Childhood experiences of abuse and neglect: links with different psychopathology symptom dimensions in a Mexican sample”, published in European Journal of Psychotraumatology.
