Project presentation

The objective of this demonstration activity is the transfer of technical knowledge to the Catalan agri-food sector in the elimination of biofilms present on industrial surfaces through the application of two physical technologies, ultrasound (US) and short-wave ultraviolet light (UVC).

Results: To determine the effectiveness of the US-UVC combination to eliminate biofilms of food pathogens.
