Enrolment calendar

Before your arrival at the UAB you will receive a notification from the faculty with the enrolment process.

Once you have selected your courses, the Exchange Office will do your registration and will send you a copy by e-mail.

 

In order to guarantee equal access to courses for all exchange students, the Faculty of Communication Studies applies the following procedures:

First or second semester exchange students:

• First semester: They will register for the subjects they previously selected through the Incoming Application at the beginning of September, one week before the start of classes.
• Second semester: They will register for the courses they previously selected through the Incoming Application at the beginning of February, one week before the start of classes.

Annual exchange students:

• In the initial enrollment period, first week of September, they will be able to select only subjects corresponding to the first semester.
• In the second registration period, first week of February, they will be able to complete their registration by selecting second semester courses.

Dates

• Autum Semester: from 8^th to 12^th September 2025
• Spring Semester: from 2^nd to 6^th February 2026

The first week will be to check that the schedules you have chosen are correct, that the subjects are the ones you have selected, etc., and it will be when you will be able to make changes and modifications, if necessary.

Specifically, the modification periods are:

• Autum Semester: from 15^th to 19^th September 2025
• Spring Semester: from 9^th to 13^th February 2026

That week we will send you registration modification form that you will have to return by email duly filled in and signed.

If you want to register subjects from other Faculties, we inform you that only these faculties use the same incoming application:

• Faculty of Philosophy and Arts
• Faculty of Psychology
• Faculty of Economics & Business Studies
• Faculty of Political Science and Sociology
• Faculty of Translation and Interpretation
• Faculty of Law

Dates to choose courses from other Faculties

• Autumn Semester: from 17^th to 25^th September 2025
• Spring Semester: from 18^th to 24^th February 2026

Medical insurance

You will have to pay 4,02 € for the medical insurance. It is a compulsory insurance and you must pay it once you arrive at UAB.

 

Learning agreement and arrival certificate

You can send us by e-mail or deliver by hand in our office your Learning Agreement and your arrival Certificate for us to sign them. 

Once they are signed by the exchange coordinator, they will be sent to you by    e-mail.
