Young researchers on Anglophone studies present their work at the UAB
The Association of Young Researchers on Anglophone Studies (ASYRAS) biannually organises a meeting on the research they are conducting in this academic field. This time the meeting took place from 25 to 27 January at the UAB Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

In the past few years, young researchers have had to face a highly complex social and academic scene. However, against all odds, they manage to generate high quality research. The conference will provide a space in which young graduates and researchers in English Studies can present their works on linguistics, literature and culture.
The conference will include four plenary sessions, parallel sessions on linguistics and literature, project presentations, a workshop on statistics offered by the UAB Applied Statistics Service and information sessions on pre- and post-doctoral grants, programmes, study periods abroad and PhD theses.
The organisation of the conference was conducted with the support of ASYRAS, which organises biannual conferences. This edition's organisation committee was formed by people from the areas of English and North American literature and English linguistics.
