World Voice Day returns to the UAB
On Monday 25 April, for the third year running, World Voice Day arrives at the UAB. This event intends to make Speech Therapy and the Voice accessible to a wider public.

Between 11 am and 13 pm, both students and professors of Advanced Voice Analysis and Characterization from the UAB’s Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy, will offer their scientific point of view through Express Voice Analysis, an activity open to everyone who wants to discover the secrets of their own voice through Speech Therapy.
From 1 pm, the Speech Therapy Choir, directed and formed entirely by students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy, will perform using an Open Mic, which will also be available to anyone who wants to show their voice in any form (singing, reciting, impersonating, doing a monolog, performing a theatre play, doing a news report, etc.). The organization makes a call for participation, and wishes for the voices of the participants to take the leading role in this day. The stage will be perfectly equipped with instruments that will be at the disposal of the participants (guitar, bass, keyboards, diatonic button accordion and drums). Participants will also have the opportunity to use background music if they need to.
This is an event organized by the SiPEP Voice Unit, the Speech Therapy Choir and the WVD Commission of the Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy, and it also has the collaboration of the Faculty of Psychology and the UAB Community Involvement Unit. After the experience of previous editions, the organization intends to make Speech Therapy and the Voice accessible to a wider public.
