UAB to celebrate its 13th Sustainable and Safe Mobility Week

On 25 October, the main day of the Sustainable and Safe Mobility Week, the university will also celebrate Bicycle Day, in which all members of the university can participate in the activities being held at the Plaça Cívica from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

From 22 to 26 October the UAB will be holding its 13th Sustainable and Safe Mobility Week (SMSS) as part of the Campus SIS celebrations, which aims to raise awareness among the university community on the economic, environmental and social advantages of using public transport, bicycles and walking.
 
During the week, students and other university members can participate in activities such as the "Mou-te per la UAB" in which using a mobile phone application they can track how many kilometres they travel using sustainable transport. Members will also be able to participate in a photography contest, with a T-Trimestre ticket as prize for the winning photo.
 
On 25 October, Bicycle Day, there will be many activities at the Plaça Cívica from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., such as a bike repair workshop compensated with hours for university workers and credit validation for students.
