On 13 February, the UAB included yet another means of communication. At 12 noon, the UAB Radio began to emit its signal. The university's radio forms part of the UAB Campus Mèdia project, designed by the Faculty of Communication Studies. The radio can be heard on the 100.3 FM dial or at www.uab.cat/campusmedia/.
The first programme included the participation of Ferran Sancho, Rector of the UAB; Antoni Bassas, journalist and patron of the new radio, and a series of guests who are closely linked to the world of radio and communication. The programme could be followed at www.uab.cat/campusmedia/ and on the 100.3 FM dial.

On that same Friday, 13 February, the radio invited members of "Tarda de Ràdio", from Ràdio Sabadell, to broadcast their programme from the Faculty of Communication Studies from 4 to 7 pm. The programme was available on Ràdio Sabadell's frequency (96.4 FM) as well.

UAB Radio is part of the UAB Campus Mèdia, a transmedia project by the Faculty of Communication Studies directed by Antoni Vidal, lecturer of the Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Audiovisual Communication. The portal includes the online television UABTV, and now also the UAB Radio on the FM frequency.

UAB Campus Mèdia is made up of a team of fifteen members and is open to regular and specific collaborations through podcasts and other formats. For more information on how to participate please send an e-mail to the following address: tv.campus.media@uab.cat.
