The UAB Senate will meet on Wednesday 3 May in an ordinary session to debate on the application of the Protocol to prevent and act against harassment based on sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and gender violence, as well as to provide information of the application of the new univeristy system's organic law, LOSU, and other issues.

The UAB Senate will also use the meeting to incorporate new members representing the UAB student body, and to appoint the student representative on the Senate Board and representatives of this sector for the Governing Team, as well as appoint members of the Coexistence Committee which forms part of the University Coexistence Law and, if necessary, also touch upon the other proposals included in this meeting.

The University Senate is the maximum organ of representation of the university community. Members of the University Senate change every four years, except for members of the student sector, who change every two years. The Senate meets at least twice a year to debate all aspects of actions, control the governing bodies and put forth regulation measures.
