The UAB to hold European Research Night with a full informative activities session
On 26 September the UAB organises a wide range of activities as part of European Research Night, a public event dedicated to promoting science.

On Friday 26 September the UAB will celebrate European Research Night with a day full of informative activities. The aim is to bring research, innovation, and their protagonists closer to audiences of all ages in a simple and fun way. Starting at 5:00 p.m., the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona will host a research fair featuring workshops and exhibitions, games, and mini-lectures with researchers from the university and research institutes from the UAB Sphere.
The event is held each year on the last Friday of September in more than 300 cities in 30 European countries simultaneously. During the week of 22 to 26 September, more than 200 activities will be offered in Catalonia, free of charge and for all audiences, including talks, workshops, experiments, shows, and games, with the participation of researchers from more than 50 scientific institutions.
The European Research Night project is made possible thanks to co-funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe research and innovation programme and the collaboration of a consortium comprising the University of Girona (UdG), which coordinates the project and the Girona node, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), the University of Barcelona (UB), and the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal), coordinating entities of the Barcelona-Vallès node; the University of Lleida (UdL), coordinator of the Lleida node; the Rovira i Virgili University (URV), coordinator of the Tarragona node; and the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC), coordinator of the Central Catalonia node. The Catalan Association for Scientific Communication (ACCC) is responsible for communication and coordination between the different nodes.
