The UAB Theatre will host the play ‘De algún tiempo a esta parte’, by Esther Lázaro

Catalan actress Esther Lázaro will perform the monologue ‘De algún tiempo a esta parte’, by Max Aub, the days 27 and 30 of March at the UAB Theatre. The functions are organised by Cultura en Viu and the Spanish Philology Department and will take place at 10 o’clock and half past eight. Entrance will be free.

‘De algún tiempo a esta parte’ tells the story of a woman who lives in Vienna after the Anchsluss in 1938. Emma, the protagonist (portrayed by Esther Lázaro) speaks to her dead husband, reflects on their past and talks about the changes the prelude of World War II has brought to Vienna.

Esther Lázaro has been Ccnnected to music and theatre since she was Young and has worked with directors like Miquel Gòrrix, Xavier Puig or Agustí Humet. With this play, which has been acclaimed by the audience, she pays tribute to one of the most remarkable authors of the republican exile after the Spanish Civil War.

Capacity: 130 people. Free entrance limited to seating capacity.
Ticket office opens 30 minutes before beginning of each show.
Seats cannot be booked and only one ticket will be given per person.
