The UAB opens a call for flash ficiton where light is an essential plot element

In celebration of International Day of Light on 16 May, the faculties of Sciences and Biosciences have organised a flash fiction competition, open to all members of the UAB. Submissions must be made by Sunday 28 April.

The Faculties of Sciences and Biosciences have organised a flash fiction competition which will be held on 16 May, in celebration of International Day of Light, declared by the UNESCO in 2017. The competition is open to all members of the university community (students, PAS and PDI) and all submissions must be made by Sunday 28 April.

The stories must focus on situations in which light is an essential element of the story. Three cash prizes will be given (€100, €75 and €50) which can be used to buy books at the ABACUS bookstore. The winning microstories will be published in the UAB website.
