The UAB offers new courses on gender starting in September 2025

The UAB once again is offering courses on gender equality and LGTBI rights, aimed at UAB technical staff, administration and services staff (PTGAS) and lecturers and researchers (PDI). The courses will take place between the final months of 2025 and the start of 2026.

Now fully consolidated as part of the University's training programme, this is a clear example of the UAB's commitment to gender equality and LGBTI rights and forms part of its gender equality action plan, entitled "V Pla d'acció per a la igualtat de gènere de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona i I Pla d’igualtat de gènere en matèria laboral (2024-2030)".

Courses are offered on the prevention of gender-based violence, LGBTI rights, and non-sexist language use. The following courses are offered:

• 12596-2 "Creant entorns universitaris inclusius amb la diversitat afectivo-sexual i de gènere”. 4 to 11 November 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Synchornous online classes.  
• 12681-6. “Lideratge i facilitació d’equips per a l’atenció i l’abordatge de les violències masclistes”. 6, 13 and 20 November 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On-site classes.
• 10407-15. “Comunicació amb perspectiva de gènere i de llenguatge no sexista”. 15 and 22 January 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Synchronous online classes. 
• 12487-4. "Prevenció de les violències masclistes a la universitat”. 23 January 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Synchronous online classes.
