The UAB is sad to announce the death of Josep Llopart
Josep Llopart Barceló, former manager of the University, passed away on 17 September 2025. The UAB extends its deepest condolences to those who knew and loved him and expresses its sadness for having lost a member of its community.
Josep Llopart Barceló held the position of university manager before continuing his professional career outside the UAB.
The wake will be held at the Molins de Rei funeral home on 18 September until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 3:30 p.m. at the Sant Miquel Arcàngel church in Molins de Rei on the same day, 18 September.
