The event to commemorate 25-N will take place in the Plaça Cívica on Friday 24 November at 1 p.m. It will feature a welcoming speech by UAB Secretary General Esther Zapater who was recently appointed president of the Women and Science Commission of the Interuniversity Council of Catalonia (CIC), a body that ensures the effective equality of women and men in the field of higher education and research in Catalonia.

After her speech, a member of the PAS will read the manifesto of the Women and Science Commission of the CIC. Afterwards, a minute of silence will be held to commemorate the victims of gender-based violence.

Then, graphic designer Anna Carrasquedo will lead a group painting to restore the feminist mural located in the Plaça Cívica, with the help of the band Musical Sisters, who will be performing live.

This mural was commissioned to the artist Clara Corax in 2020, but since then it has been vandalised several times and is now in very bad shape. For this reason, the Observatory for Equality decided to dedicate the commemoration of this year's 25-N to restoring it and thus reaffirming the commitment of the UAB to the eradication of gender-based violence and the construction of a feminist university.
