The UAB Barcelona Summer School will offer new courses this year

The 2022 Barcelona Summer School will offer three new courses and greater on site attendance than last year.

This seventh year of the Summer School the programme will be 90% taught in English. The promotion will begin in February and will include inform information about the courses on offer and the academic credit recognition that these give. The programme will include both academic and social activities.

This year opens the door to new courses in the humanities, social sciences and engineering. Specifically the courses are Games Theory, International Relations with East Asia and Data Protection: Ethics and legislation. The current offer of courses in Spanish as a Foreign Language (Levels A2 and B1), scientific research, performing arts and the other areas will continue to be offered with some variation in the content.

The dates for the seventh Barcelona Summer School are:

  • 1st period: 20 June to 8 July. N.B. 24 June is a public holiday.
  • 2nd period: 11 to 29 July

All courses will take place from 9 am to midday.

Despite the pandemic, the UAB Barcelona Summer School will be held with greater on site attendance. The campus and the faculties will once again be an international meeting point for a month and a half. Also, the Buddy Programme will continue with activities to enrich the stay at the UAB and share experiences with students from other countries.

UAB students enrolling in the UAB Barcelona Summer School can take up to 36 ECTS credits if their degree consists of a total of 240 credits, and 27 ECTS credits if their degree consists of a total of 180 credits.
