It thereby improves in both sectors, given that it ranked 86th in Europe and third in Spain in the previous edition of the ranking. There are a total of 57 Spanish universities in the classification, which this year is headed by the University of Oxford.
THE World Universities Rankings is a leading ranking prepared by the Times Higher Education journal, which analyses higher education institutions based on 18 performance indicators grouped into five areas: teaching, research environment, research quality, transfer and international projection.
