THE ranking places UAB among the top 100 universities in Europe

The UAB is once again one of the 100 top universities in Europe according to the Times Higher Education 2014-2015 university ranking. It maintains its position between the top 226-250 worldwide and is one of the top three universities in Spain, alongside Pompeu Fabra University and University of Barcelona.

The UAB stands out in scientific article citations and in research, two aspects in which it has moved up since last year's ranking. Its global assessment places it in the 226-250 section worldwide and among the top 100 universities in Europe.
 
The first positions in the ranking belong to the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Harvard University (USA) and the University of Oxford (UK). In Europe, the University of Cambridge and the Imperial College of London follow Oxford to complete the top three positions.
 
In Spain, the importance of Catalan universities can be seen with Pompeu Fabra University, University of Barcelona and the UAB leading the list. In fourth and fifth position are the Autonomous University of Madrid and the University of Valencia, in the 301-350 section.
