The nomination A is the winner of the elections to the UAB Student Council’ Standing Committee
Following the victory in the elections conducted on 15 March to choose the new members of the UAB Student Council (CEUAB)’ Standing Committee, David Montpeyó (nomination A) was appointed new chairman of the Standing Committee.

From among the 49 voters, 26 voted for the nomination A—led by David Montpeyó—and 20 voted for the nomination B—led by Cèlia Apple—, there were 2 invalid ballots and 1 blank ballot. From 16 to 17 March, there will be a period for claims about the outcome of the election. If there are no claims, the final outcome of the election will be announced on 20 March.
The UAB Student Council (CEUAB) is the most important body of student representation and its main goal is to express the students' opinions to the decision-making bodies of the university, guaranteeing the rights of the student community. The UAB Student Council (CEUAB) is made up of two bodies: the Plenary and the Standing Committee. The Plenary is where discussions take place and decisions are made. Each faculty is represented by 4 students chosen by the Student Council of each centre. The Standing Committee is the UAB Student Council’s executive body, and it is made up of a chair, a vice-chair and a maximum of 10 members.
