Law + International Relations achieves highest admission cut-off score in Catalonia for the first time: 12.972
The UAB double degree in Law + International Relations has reached the highest admission cut-off mark at 12.972 points out of 14, the highest of the entire Catalan university system. It is the first time it has reached such a high cut-off mark. The second-highest score in the university system belongs to another UAB double degree: the Physics and Mathematics bachelor's degree programme, with 12.924 points.
Two other UAB degree programmes have scored above twelve points: Medicine (12.354) and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (12.106)—a degree offered by the UAB through the Alliance of 4 Universities (A4U) in collaboration with the Autonomous University of Madrid, the Carlos III University, and Pompeu Fabra University. Programmes exceeding the eleven-point threshold include Biomedical Sciences (11.934), Veterinary Medicine (11.822), Criminology + Psychology (11.644), Mathematics (11.632), Physics + Chemistry (11.484), International Relations (11.454), Economics + Computational Mathematics and Data Analytics (11.424), Political Science and Public Management + Law (11.270), Advertising and Public Relations (11.056), and Genetics (11.040). In addition, fifteen other UAB degree programmes scored above ten points.
The Government of Catalonia has today released data on university placement allocations in Catalonia, granting 9,686 students admission to higher education programmes at the UAB. As in previous years, the UAB degree programmes receiving the most applications were Medicine, Nursing, and Psychology—reflecting the high demand for health science studies across the university system as a whole—followed by two social science degrees: Business Administration and Management, and Law.
