The first monograph, entitled "Prácticas editoriales y sociabilidad literaria en torno a Lope de Vega" [Publishing Practices and Literary Sociability around Lope de Vega] and coordinated by Ignacio García Aguilar, lecturer at the University of Cordoba, aims to reflect on the tensions and links, more or less clientelistic and of literary institutionalisation, that influenced the creative activity of the "Phoenix of Wits", as Cervantes called him. The second is coordinated by Elena Di Pinto, lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid. Entitled "La alquimia en un mundo inventado: mixturas literarias en tiempos de Lope" [Alchemy in an invented world: literary mixtures in Lope's time], it highlights the habitual and fruitful mixture of arts in the writer's time, which involved a multitude of variations, hybridisations and games of contrasts. Issue 30 is completed with two more articles, on an unpublished actor's role and on the automated orthographic modernisation of Golden Age texts thanks to artificial intelligence.

The Anuario Lope de Vega was founded in 1995 by the former UAB lecturer Alberto Blecua (1941-2020), and was directed by himself and Guillermo Serés, and successively by lecturers Victoria Pineda, Enrico Di Pastena and Guillermo Gómez Sánchez-Ferrer. It has always been linked to the Prolope research group and the UAB, although it has received external support, such as that of Editorial Milenio, which published it in print until 2011. Since then, the publication has been disseminated online through the university's Digital Journals Service.

In its thirty years and thirty issues, the Anuario Lope de Vega has achieved prestige in its field of knowledge, both nationally and internationally, with the uninterrupted award of quality seals and positive evaluations from the most demanding institutions. All this has been possible thanks to the collaboration of authors, reviewers, evaluators, proofreaders and readers, who, in a joint effort that totals more than 700 published texts, have made a decisive contribution to maintaining the works on Lope de Vega and the theatre of the Golden Age at an excellent level of research and to making them a point of reference for literary studies. Its history shows that it has been able to adapt to new technologies and to make room for the youngest scholars, who have worked alongside the most authorised experts on Lope de Vega, and this has enabled it to maintain the publication's relevance and guarantee a promising future.
