The countdown is on for UABFM16!
The FM is almost upon us! There are only 3 days left until the UAB’s most involving and inclusive festival of all. See you on 10 November from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.!

Former UAB Sociology student and transsexual activist Miquel Missé will start the festival off with an opening speech in Plaça Cívica. Missé was the first student to ask to be treated according to his sexual orientation rather than his physical gender. Under the motto of this years’ FM “Fora la LGTBIfòbia de la UAB” (Stop LGBTI-phobia in the UAB), the opening speech will raise awareness of the LGBTI group and the difficulties they permanently face.
In Plaça Cívica you will also find the Entities Fair and plenty of performances by such student societies as the castellers group Ganàpies and Swing UAB. There will also be plenty of activities on the Resource Center for Student Societies stage and the Hotel d’Entitats stage. And in Plaça del Coneixement there will be more than 50 student stalls selling food and drinks and lots of activities organised by student societies and UAB class groups. There will also be music performances on two stages in Plaça del Coneixement. Everyone involved in the FM should help to make it a safe, non-sexist and involving festival.
Finally, we remind you that you can use the FM UAB app to find out more about the programme of activities, their location, information on public transport and the emergency hotline. Download the FM app for Android and Apple and carry the FM UAB with you!
