For the 2026/27 academic year, the Unit of Culture and Heritage is once again offering a wide range of artistic training opportunities for the entire university community. The Theatre, Music, Dance and Creative Writing programmes continue to serve as spaces for artistic creation, learning and experimentation, allowing participants both to begin training in a discipline and to deepen their existing knowledge, while earning ECTS academic credits for their participation.

The programme includes theatre training through Level 1 and Level 2 Acting courses, the Resident Theatre Group, and the Acting in English workshop, a proposal that combines stage practice with English language learning.

In the field of dance, participants can train in Contemporary Dance at different levels, as well as in Urban Dance. This diverse offer allows participants to explore different performing arts languages and further develop their artistic training.

Music will also play a prominent role through Voice Technique courses, the UAB Choir, Chamber Choir and Orchestra, all of which combine artistic training with participation in stage productions and concerts open to the university community.

As for creative writing, the Creative Writing Programme will continue to offer workshops designed to develop narrative skills, explore different literary genres and foster artistic expression through the written word.

With this programme, the Unit of Culture and Heritage reaffirms its commitment to making the campus a place for comprehensive education where creativity, the arts and cultural participation are an essential part of university life. Led by professionals from each discipline, these activities provide students with the opportunity to grow artistically, work on collective projects and play an active role in UAB's cultural life.
