Questionnaire to discover the emotional state of Catalonia's university community

Problems related to mental health have become one of the main causes of disabilities. The university community is one of the groups with a series of risk factors that make this group vulnerable to developing problems that affect mental health and well-being. The study to discover the emotional state of Catalonia's university community will be the first on this subject to be carried out with the aim of adopting intervention and prevention strategies to deal with this constant increase in mental health illnesses.

The research, commissioned by the Inter-university Council of Catalonia (CIC) and evaluated by the UNIDISCAT, invites all members of the university community, i.e. students, administrative and service staff (PAS), lecturers and researchers (PDI), to fill out a questionnaire that will allow guiding orient and give priority to mental health intervention strategies, as well as obtain essential information to help take precise actions.

The questionnaire forms part of the Government of Catalonia's National Mental Health Pact (Pacte Nacional de Salut Mental) and aims to set up an efficient mental health attention and prevention strategy. The questionnaire, focused directly on the university community, contains two parts: questions aimed at evaluating aspects of their emotional well-being and quality of life, and a qualitative study based on group discussions with volunteers.

The entire university community is invited to answere the questionnaire through a link that will be sent via email to students, PAS and PDI, with a specific questionnaire for each of the three groups.
