Photo exhibition “Criminology: a science that focuses on society”

The Associacio Interuniversitaria de Criminologia (AIC), a group of criminology students and professional criminologists from Catalonia, organizes from 26 to 28 April, the photo exhibition “Criminology: a science that focuses on society” (Criminologia: una ciència enfocada a la societat). The exhibition seeks to reflect the work of criminologists through photography.

The exhibition is made up of 11 large-size and 5 small-size photographs that portray the role of criminologists in the 21st century. Some of the works were selected at the 1st edition of the Criminology Photo Contest held by the AIC, and all the pictures were taken by professional criminologist and graduate and undergraduate criminology students.

The exhibition reflects the main sides of contemporary criminology and its relation to society, such as dealing with juvenile delinquency, analyzing data to prevent crime and standing up for human rights.
