The Festa Major, which will be held on Thursday 7 November and this year is dedicated to the climate emergency, now has an official poster after the competition open to members of the UAB community. Of the more than thirty proposals submitted, the winning poster belongs to Aina Suárez Arenas, who studies Advertising and Public Relations.

Between the months of June and September, the UAB accepted 33 poster proposals for the image of the UAB's annual festival, FMUAB19. Of the 33 proposals, five posters were selected as finalists. Until 30 September, members of the university community could vote for their favourite, and the three winning proposals were chosen for the final vote. The remaining two finalists were chosen by a jury made up of the Vice Rector for Students and Employability, and technical staff from the Community Involvement Unit, Cultura en Viu and the UAB Communication Bureau.

Finally, the chosen proposal was the poster presented by Aina Suárez Arenas, a fourth-year student of Advertising and Public Relations. The winner will receive a €300 cash prize and the image of the poster will be included in all information leaflets and documents associated with the FMUAB19.

All posters presented this year, as well as those from the FMUAB 2016, 2017 and 2018 can be viewed in the Facebook of the FMUAB.
