New calls for university cooperation projects
Two new calls have opened with the aim of funding university cooperation and education for global justice projects, aimed at both UAB staff members (PDI and PTGAS) and master's and PhD students.

With over twenty years since its founding, the UAB Solidarity Fund continues to focus on international cooperations from a critical, feminist and decolonial perspective. Thanks to the commitment of the university community, two new call have been opened to foster the creation of new transformative projects.
Forty-third call addressed to PDI and PTGAS members
With a total funding of 90,000 euros (up to 13,500 euros per project), this call aims to provide support to initiatives that analyse and transform the causes of many global challenges.
The projects can be related to two categories: the South, which includes projects carried out in the Global South in collaboration with a local research institution; and the UAB, which includes actions focusing on the UAB university community. In the latter case, entities and institutions from the Global South must also be collaborating in the UAB projects.

E2025-2026 call aimed at postgraduate students
Addressed to UAB students interested in launching international cooperation projects, this call has a budget of 10,000 euros, with a maximum of 1,500 euros going towards the funding of each project.
The proposals must include a minimum one-month stay in the place where the project will be implemented. They must also be related to the student's university studies and include the supervision of a UAB lecturer or researcher, as well as of a local counterpart.
Students must speak the language of the country or region in which they will carry out the project. Finally, applicants who have already received funding through previous calls are not eligible to apply.

Documents and deadlines
The call for students will remain open until 27 March 2026, while the call for members of the PDI and PTGAS groups will be open until 20 March 2026.
