Lecturer Pere Darder passes away
Pere Darder, lecturer of the Department of Systematic and Social Teaching and Dean of the Faculty of Education from March 1996 to May 1998, passed away on 15 July 2022.
Pere Darder, who was dean of the Faculty of Education from March 1996 to May 1998, passed away on 15 July.
He was also lecturer in Education Theory of the Department of Systematic and Social Paedagogy and member of the School Council of Catalonia in representation of universities, where he was also president.
An academic leader in emotional paedagogy and other subjects, he leaves an enormous legacy thanks to his commitment to teaching and as founder of the Costa i Llobera School, the Rosa Sensat Association of Teachers, the Sant Cugat School of Teachers, and the UAB Faculty of Education.
The UAB wishes to express its feeling of loss and at the same time convey its deepest condolences to Pere Darder's family and friends and to all of those who knew and appreciated him.
