Improvements to intercity bus services for the 2025-2026 academic year

Starting September 8, 2025, the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan government) will add millions of euros to five of the lines that will connect the UAB Campus with some municipalities.
Barcelona-Cerdanyola-UAB
Since September 22, the Barcelona-Cerdanyola-UAB line offers a total of 204 journeys between Barcelona and the UAB Campus, from Monday to Friday, between 6:00 a.m. and 10:40 p.m. The total increase compared to the previous service is 54 journeys per day. It is worth highlighting the increase in Barcelona-UAB journeys from 4 to 27 per day, which will entail a significant reduction in travel time.

Sabadell-Barberà-Badia-UAB
Since September 22, the Sabadell-Barberà-Badia-UAB line offers a total of 16 journeys per year and return between Sabadell and the University Campus from Monday to Friday, between 6:45 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. The total increase compared to the previous service is 12 journeys during the day.

Mataró-Argentona-UAB
Starting September 8, the Mataró-Argentona-UAB line offers 14 year-round expeditions to the UAB and 14 tornado expeditions from 6:35 a.m. to 9:15 p.m., from dilluns to diverndres lectius. Therefore, the offer increases by 21.7% between 3 annual and 2 tornado expeditions.
On the other hand, the Plaça de les Teresses stop is annulled and relocated to the Ronda General Prim corner on Goya Street.

Igualada-Martorell-UAB
Starting September 8, the Igualada-Martorell-UAB line offers three year-round and three return journeys from 6:35 a.m. Monday to 7:15 p.m., from Monday to Sunday. The service is therefore increased by 50% with one more journey per journey. The first departure to the UAB will be at 6:35 a.m., and the second departure from the UAB will be at 7:15 p.m.

Montcada-Ripollet-UAB-Bellaterra
Starting September 15, the Montcada-UAB line will increase service frequency to every 30 minutes from 7:30 to 9:00 and from 1:30 to 7:00. The total number of journeys will be from January 24th to January 24th, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, which represents a 42% increase compared to the previous service.
