If you are a student representative, you can now continue your training!
Student representatives are the main link between the student body and the university. For this reason, the Community Involvement unit suggests training sessions to offer resources for the students representative’s task. Now the schedule has been extended with online activities!
The student representative training sessions consist of an established program of classroom-based training on topics of interest. These sessions are focused on providing the necessary tools for student representatives to perform their task.
However, due to the current situation of health emergency, these classroom-based sessions have been canceled and the Community Involvement unit offers alternative distance training to keep providing support to the representatives.
Thus, during April and May, student representatives can participate in the Tandem activity and practice languages with international students, now online as well. On Students Representative’s Moodle, they will find a video explaining what is the Tandem. Once they have visualized the video, they have to sign up in the online activity and afterward share their experience with their classmates, also through the discussion Forum in the Moodle of their faculty.
As you can see, the Community Involvement unit doesn’t stop and we keep offering activities to the university community, now from home!
