ICREA Acadèmia 2023 call now open

The ICREA Acadèmia programme was first launched in 2008 with the aim to encourage and prize research excellence among university faculty members from the public universities in Catalonia. The programme consists in a research intensification of lecturers giving classes in their most active moment with the highest potential for scientific growth. The grants, which cover a period of five years, help increase the international impact and extension of research conducted in Catalan universities.

A new edition of the programme, ICREA Acadèmia 2023,  will open on Thursday 24 August. The programme offers lecturers financial aid so that they can spend more time researching, given that their academic tasks can be reduced thanks to this financial grant. Deadline for applications is 26 September 2023.
