Once again, this year the UAB will be celebrating its 12th Health and Sustainability Week (SiS Week) from 25 to 29 April.

XII Setmana Saludable Sostenible

The week will begin on Monday 25 April with a conference on Ukraine and its effects on the energy and climate crises, entitled "Quina influència té la guerra d'Ucraïna en la crisi energètica i l'emergència climàtica", and will end on Friday 29 April with a debate on the future of the current food system: "Col·lapse del sistema alimentari?" and a concert by "Que parlin els esquellots”. There also will be talks, workshops, book presentations and a variety of open-air activities.

Carme Miralles, Vice Rector for Campus, Sustainability and Territory, will be in charge of inaugurating the 12th SiS Week on Monday 25 April, which will mark the beginning of five activity-filled days whose main focus is our health and how to become more sustainable in our everyday lives.

All activities will take place in different indoor and outdoor areas of the campus. Students participating in four activities can validate them with 1 ECTS credit by marking this option on the registration forms of the activities they fill out.

PAS members interested in participating in the activities during compulsory working hours must get authorisation from their direct superiors and mark it with the time management code “IP-Activitat de la setmana saludable”, which will then be counted as flexible hours. There is no need to do anything if the activity takes place outside of the complusory working hours.
