First BNC-b PhD student conference
On 20 and 21 May, the faculties of Sciences and Biosciences will host the first conference organised by the PhD students of the centres belonging to the Barcelona Nanotechnology Cluster – Bellaterra.
Organised by the students themselves, the aim of the conference is to promote networking among young researchers and offer them the possibility to present their works in an academic and scientific environment. For the organisers, the experience will strengthen their skills in defending their research in front of an audience, as well learn how to coordinate a scientific event. The event will take place at the conference hall of the Faculty of Science.
All speakers will have the chance to share their research in the different areas of nanoscience: such as nanomedicine, biomaterials, nanodevices, characterisation of advanced materials, theory and simulation, nanomaterials for energy and the environment, etc.
