elCens launches a new app for delegates!

It has been three years since ElCens, a meeting space for the class delegates was first created. As a result of the approval of new regulations back in April 2014, elCens was created with the aim of making visible the support tasks carried out by the delegates in UAB faculties. elCens assists them on their daily tasks and holds a number of get-togethers, such as the one for the Delegates’ Forum, which are very helpful to the development of the delegates’ duties.

ElCens now has a new mobile application that aims to be of use for all delegates. From this app, the delegates will be able to access the latest data about the Delegates’ Forum get-togethers, register in elCens and get in contact with Community Involvement for assistance. Furthermore, the app features not only a news section that will keep the delegates updated on the latest events at the UAB campus, but also a list of FAQ posed by other delegates during get-togethers from previous years.

More than 50 delegates have already registered in elCens this year and more than 300 did it last year. The supportive role of the delegates in academic matters is the key to improving the quality standards of the UAB degrees. Therefore, this new app will be a great tool for all delegates making it easier for them to come together and to work online on a daily basis.
