Dominican Republic's Vice President Cedeño visits UAB
The UAB collaborates with universities and institutions of all Latin America. Margarita Cedeño, Vice President of the Dominican Republic, visited the UAB with the aim to strengthen ties between her country and the university and discuss possible joint programmes.

The UAB maintains close ties with the Dominican Republic thanks to the collaboration and exchange agreements signed with the UAB Faculty of Communication Studies.
In addition to Vice President Cedeño and Rector Sancho, the meeting was attended by Lluís Quintana, UAB Vice Rector for International Relations; José Manuel Pérez Tornero, Director of the UAB Department of Journalism and Communications Studies; and Santiago Tejedor, Vice Dean for Teaching, Faculty and Students of the Faculty of Communication Studies.
The meeting also served to talk about possible projects and actions of common interest for both institutions in new fields, such as hotel management and school libraries and reading promotion.
