CEUAB representatives attend the Vives Network Meeting
On the weekend of 19 to 21 February, Valencia hosted the 6th Student Representatives Meeting organized by the Vives Network. The meeting’s objective is to improve coordination among universities, exchange knowledge and materials, promote the Catalan language and provide training to the representatives.
On the weekend of 19 to 21 February, Valencia hosted the 6th Student Representatives Meeting organized by the Vives Network. This meeting is held annually between Catalan-speaking universities, and Nil Gàllego, form the Faculty of Sciences, and Eric Bermudes, from the Faculty of Psychology were there to represent the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.The meeting’s objective is to improve coordination among universities, exchange knowledge and materials, promote the Catalan language and provide training to the representatives. Specifically, in this edition the issues discussed on the round tables were problems with language in classrooms –the bilingualism in bachelor’s degrees and the increase in the number of lectures in English–, effective communication – using the Scrum method-, and students’ conflict.
Besides these talks, the participants also enjoyed a guided tour of the Universitat Politècnica de València and the historical city centre.
