Applications for 2023/24 General Grants now open
Applications for students interested in receiving a grant for the 2023/24 academic can be sent in from 27 March to 17 May 2023.
This is the only application period that will open this year, so go ahead and fill out the form just in case, if necessary you will have the chance to change the information later on.
If you are planning to enrol in the 2023/24 academic year in a bachelor's or master's degree, you are surely aware of the existence of General Grants (from the Spanish Ministry for Education or from AGAUR). This grant includes a tuition waiver and other financial aids for things such as transport and housing.
The grant is offered yearly by the Spanish Ministry for Education and Professional Training (MEFP), and in Catalonia it is offered by the Agency for Management of University and Research Grants (AGAUR) and is addressed to students enrolled in official university bachelor's and master's degrees.
Students have until 17 May to apply for a grant, so you can apply even if you have not yet decided whether you will study or not! This is the only application period that will open this year, so go ahead and fill out the form just in case, if necessary you will have the chance to change the information later on. And if you finally decide not to study, there is no problem, your application will be discarded (without this affecting any future grants you may apply for).
The General Grants are not compatible with study grants available from other public or private organisations. More infomation can be found at the AGAUR and Spanish Ministry website.
