A project from the Faculty of Law receives one of the main awards at the Congress of the Spanish Association of Health and Social Security
The work presented by lecturer Oriol Cremades Chueca of the Department of Public Law and Legal History Studies was awarded one of the main prizes of the 9th International Congress and 22nd National Congress of the Spanish Association of Health and Social Security (AESSS), held in Madrid on 23 and 24 October 2025.
The award-winning research, entitled "Cuatro retos para la prevención de los riesgos laborales en el trabajo híbrido asalariado en el sector privado español: cuantificación, tipología, efectividad y eficiencia normativas" [Four challenges for the prevention of occupational risks in hybrid salaried work in the Spanish private sector: quantification, typology, effectiveness and regulatory efficiency], analyses the main challenges posed by the prevention of occupational risks in the context of hybrid work. The study provides conceptual tools and proposals to improve the effectiveness of the current regulatory framework in the field of occupational health and safety.
This recognition highlights the research work carried out by the Faculty of Law in the field of occupational risk prevention and labour law, and reinforces the UAB's commitment to the analysis of new challenges posed by the transformations of the labour market.
