La Comunitària to mark the start of the new academic year once again
On Tuesday 30 September, La Comunitària returns for a new fall edition, from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. The Bellaterra campus will host activities, shows, experiences, and much more. The event is an opportunity to get to know the UAB's network of associations, learn, and enjoy a unique day.
The opening speech, in the Plaça del Coneixement, will kick off the 2025 fall edition of La Comunitària. And once the day begins, attendees will be able to enjoy the entites' fair which offers a wide range of activities organised by the different groups, student councils, and services that form part of the University and enrich the UAB.
In addition, Plaça del Coneixement will host various shows and performances, such as the traditional human towers by the Ganàpies and sardana dancing by the Agrupació Sardanista de Cerdanyola del Vallès. It should be noted that this year's event coincides with the 25th anniversary of the UAB Solidarity Foundation (FAS), with activities to commemorate the anniversary.
As every year, La Comunitària UAB wants attendees to be more than just spectators; it wants them to immerse themselves in the event and play a key role in it. That is why active participation in the various activities is key to helping everyone find the place they feel most comfortable with or simply discover services that are useful to them.
It is an ideal experience both for students who are starting their first year and want to discover the university, and for those who have been here for years and are looking to experience it from a new perspective.
La Comunitària UAB upholds the philosophy of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and adhere's to this year's UAB slogan dedicated to "Unidiversity", highlighting the commitment to inclusion and active participation by the entire university community.
